Frequently Asked Questions

Quoteiac is a literary apparel brand. We put carefully chosen quotes from philosophers, poets, and thinkers onto premium tees, sweatshirts, mugs, and journals. Every piece is made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Every order is made for the person who placed it.
Everything is printed on demand through our production network. Your order is routed to a fulfillment facility, then ships straight to you.
One thing worth knowing: depending on which facility fulfills your order, the shipping label and packing slip may show our production partner’s name rather than Quoteiac. This is normal — it doesn’t happen every time, and there’s no way to predict which orders it affects. Everything inside is your order, made specifically for you.
Plan for 2–3 weeks from the time you order to the time it arrives at your door. That’s a comfortable window that accounts for order entry, production, quality control and transit time.
You’ll receive a tracking email as soon as your shipping label is created.
If you ordered multiple items, they may ship in separate packages from different facilities — sometimes arriving on different days. You’ll get a tracking email for each shipment. Don’t be alarmed if your first package doesn’t contain everything. The rest is on its way.
Not currently. We ship to US addresses only.
Orders go into production quickly and can’t be edited once submitted. Please double-check your size, color, and shipping address before you check out.
All sales are final. Because every piece is made specifically for you, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges for size or preference. Please review the size chart on the product page before ordering.
If there’s a misprint, wrong item, or carrier damage, email photos and your order number to info@quoteiac.com within 7 days of delivery. We’ll remake or replace it.
Most tees are 100% combed ring-spun cotton — soft, fine, and durable. Organic editions use 100% organic cotton. Fleece pieces use premium cotton-poly blends. Each product page lists the exact fabric and weight.

The Ensō is a Zen brushstroke — a circle drawn in a single breath, deliberately left open. In Zen philosophy, the unclosed gap isn’t a flaw; it’s the point. It marks the space where growth continues. Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, carries the same logic: the fracture isn’t hidden — it’s honored. On Quoteiac pieces, these symbols are design choices with philosophical weight, not decorative patterns. They pair with quotes that take the same position — that what’s been broken, questioned, or left unfinished is often more valuable than what arrived polished.
Quoteiac works against decoration for its own sake. The design language draws from three distinct traditions — 19th-century Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock printing, Abstract Expressionism, and Swiss-style typography — not as aesthetics borrowed for effect, but as structural approaches to how an image or a line of text earns its place on a surface. The result is apparel built for people who read the label, not just the logo — who treat what they wear as a considered extension of how they think.
With the right care, yes — and the care is simple: wash inside out, cold water, gentle cycle. Pull it out damp and hang to dry rather than running it through a hot dryer. That single habit extends the life of any quality printed piece significantly. The print methods we use are chosen to hold the crisp edges of Swiss-style typography and the fine detail of symbols like the Ensō — but no print method survives repeated hot washes and high heat drying. Treat it like the considered object it is, and it’ll stay that way.
The phrase we use internally is “the digital salon” — the readers, thinkers, and independent minds who’ve stopped looking to trend cycles to tell them what to wear. Quoteiac pieces are built for people who respond to context: who want to know where a quote comes from, what it meant in its original moment, and why it still matters. If that’s how you approach what you read, it’s probably how you approach what you wear.
No. Quoteiac doesn’t hold inventory. Each piece is produced to order — which means nothing exists until someone wants it. There’s no overstock, no seasonal clearance, no trend cycle driving the design calendar. The design choices are grounded in art history and philosophy — movements and thinkers with enough staying power that a piece made today shouldn’t feel dated in five years. That’s the model: intentional minimalism over volume.
